What to Expect When You Call for Repairs
Whether you’re dealing with a known issue or something unexpected, our technicians will first gather all available information from you in advance so we can fix the issue as efficiently as possible. The goal is to minimize any downtime and minimize the repair cost to you. We'll try to gather the following information if possible:
- Identify your generator’s make, model, and age
- Check for active warning or error codes
- Understand if there's a light (typically green, yellow, or red) currently on the exterior of the generator
If we can determine the issue ahead of time, we will provide you with a comprehensive quote. We’ll always communicate clearly and provide options before beginning any work.
Emergency Repairs (Same-Day Service)
Need immediate help? We offer emergency generator service with day-of response (dependent on availability and weather conditions).
- Cost: $800
- Service: Full on-site assessment and any standard repair is included
- Note: Additional charge if parts are required for the repair. A second visit for additional cost may needed if parts have to be ordered.
Scheduled Repairs (Standard Service)
If it’s not an emergency, we can schedule your repair based on our next available appointment—typically within 1–2 weeks.
- If we can determine the issue before visiting, we will provide you with a comprehensive repair quote.
- If we can not determine the issue prior to coming:
- Cost: $320
- Service: Full on-site assessment up to 1 hour
- Note: Additional charge if parts are required for repair, more time is needed to diagnose the problem past 1 hour, or a second visit is needed because additional parts must be added.
Please also note that an extended trip fee may be added for locations outside of our normal service and repair areas. Our goal is always to minimize costs for our customers and we will communicate if there's a way to prevent this fee via scheduling.
